Larry Daggett is an American actor and music director based in New York City. He has enjoyed a long career in the theatre on Broadway, off-Broadway, New York City Opera, and over thirty professional regional theatres.

One of his main sources of enjoyment is his love of musical theatre. He is a graduate of the Grove School of Music, the Lehman Engel Workshop for the development of new musicals, the Commercial Theatre Institute Training Program for Theatrical Producers, and he holds an MFA in Theatre from Florida State University.

Although much of his career has been as an actor, he has a separate resume as a music director and composer-lyricist for new musicals. His current musical in progress is Bullet Points, which addresses the effect that gun violence in schools has on teachers, students, and the country. The mission statement for his production company, New Tune Entertainment, mirrors his personal mission: “to make new art in a classical format that will make the audience sing as well as think, laugh as well as question their beliefs.” For more info, visit the NTE page on this website.
